Objective
The course is aimed at persons who would like to enter the industry as an asbestos surveyor. The course will provide candidates with background and practical knowledge in the surveying of buildings for asbestos and to provide general guidance on management procedures necessary to minimise exposure to any identified asbestos.
Candidates for this course are expected to be aware of the contents of HSG264 Asbestos: The survey guide and have a minimum of six months prior experience of carrying out asbestos surveys
Who Should Attend
This qualification is applicable for both experienced and relatively new comers to gaining a foundation of asbestos surveying knowledge.
Pre Course Requisites
All pre-reading material and training documents will be sent to delegates prior to course commencement along with access to our award wining Asbestos Awareness & Duty to Manage online courses.
Outcome/Qualification
Upon Successful completion of both written and practical assessments within 12 months will receive a Proficiency Certificate in Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings
