1. My course has frozen/stuck on a module?

Could be a browser issue pleaseuse updated Google Chrome or Firefox.

2. I have purchased certificate but no option to take exam?

Click "My Home" and you will see a green triangle saying "Become Awareness Certified" click "access now" on that course and you will see the assessment and certificate download

3. System Taken Payment twice

If you have both "Become Awareness Certified" and "Fully Certified" courses available there has been duplication. Please contact the NATAS team.

4. I have pending students?

Payment has expired and the 90 days in which you get to complete the course has run out. You will now be required to purchase more credits or delete the incomplete users from your "Students" section.

5. Resend login details to student

You need to delete the student from the teachers profile and re-add the student, which will resend the sign up email.

6.Company buying multiple users

Sign up using administrators details and buy "Credits" (each credit will be a student), once you have the required amount of credits you can add students by going to "My Students" and adding students using the "New Record" button

7. Need to issue certificate

You can log back in to the course using your login details, access your course and download the PDF certificate. You can do this at any stage.

8. Access their course

Go to www.360certified.com use student login on the right hand side and enter username and password provided via email upon sign up. Once you’re logged in click "My Home" and you should see a red triangle under "My eLearning courses" saying Fully certified asbestos awareness or a green triangle saying "Become awareness certified".

9. I need to add students

Once you have the required amount of credits you can add students by going to the "My Students" page and adding students using the "New Record" button.

10. I don’t have a PayPal account can I still purchase a course?

You are not required to have a PayPal account. You will get transfer to a PayPal interface however you will see a link that states "Pay with debit or credit card" which is below the PayPal sign in box.

11. Certificate has the wrong name on?

Once the certificate is generated you can not change the name and another license will need to be purchased. You must ensure you are logged in as the person that requires the training. If you look on the top right hand side of the screen it will display who you are logged in as, that is name that will appear on the certificate.

Is there a legal requirement for eLearning or classroom training to be a IATP or UKATA ’approved or accredited’?

Is eLearning a reputable, recognised form of training to ensure that I comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012?

HSE released the below statement with regards to eLearning: ”Online learning (often referred to as eLearning) is increasingly used as a method of providing asbestos awareness training. HSE recognizes the use of eLearning as a viable delivery method, among others, for the delivery of information, instruction and training in relation to asbestos awareness training, provided the course content satisfies the objectives as stipulated in Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and the supporting Approved Code of Practice.”

Which course do I require?

360 Certified eLearning courses meet the following specifications;

There are two current asbestos awareness courses available

  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Asbestos Awareness and Duty to Manage.


Asbestos awareness is for employees who may come into contact with asbestos at work. It is the minimum level of awareness training required within CAR2012.

Asbestos awareness and Duty to Manage is an enhanced course for supervisors and managers who may themselves come into contact with asbestos and/or who supervise or manage employees or non-employees who may come into contact with asbestos. This course includes asbestos awareness as above.

Is the course easy to use?

360 Certifed eLearning courses are designed for ease of use by the learner and follow similar characteristics of user friendly web sites.

Instructions on how to use and navigate course(s) are provided in the introduction pages of the course with easy to follow graphics and a chance to try out the navigation before the course commences.

All instructions and course content is narrated and audio is an option (learner may use PC speakers or headset).

Advancement through the course must follow the prescribed sequence as in the content list, i.e. section 01, then section 02 and so on. The learner must complete each section before moving to the next and may not jump ahead. They may review completed sections.

How long will it take to complete the course?

The course content is available to you 24/7, you can complete the course in one session in approximately 45 minutes, or alternatively you can take the course at a pace to suit you, course timings are referenced next to the module names in the main menu.

Is there an online assessment or exam?

In order to receive your certification, you will need to successfully receive 80% or above on the multiple choice assessment. You will receive three attempts in which to complete the assessment.

How do I receive my training Certificate?

Once you have successfully passed the assessment you can download your training certificate instantly! This facility is available 24/7. You can email your certificate and print it off straight away. We can provide email copies for your certificate when required at a later date.
